Recorded guitars for 5 new songs yesterday with Adam Taylor @ Q Division Studios in Somerville, MA!
The big night! The “Every Little Thing You Love” Video Premiere & Concert is going down on Friday, August 24th @ the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown, MA! We will be premiering the video on the big screen in their beautiful threater, and we’ll also play a full set. It begins at 7:30pm and advance tickets can be purchased here. Here’s the Facebook event. We’re really looking forward to this. For the past few weeks, we’ve been posting some behind the scenes photos via Facebook, and (drum roll) we are now ready to share with you the official promo teaser!

We’re going on tour in June! It’s been a while since we’ve been out to some of these places, and some we’ve never been to before. There are some great bands playing with us along the way. Are we excited? Yes. Did Ben buy a new super compact keyboard stand? Yes. Are we stopping at Shoney’s? Yes. Here’s the tour poster below. The day we return (6/23) we’ll begin shooting our video for “Every Little Thing You Love” (cool pre-production pictures here). We are even having a Roller Skating Prom scene, which we need extras for, and you’re all invited! Details. Come. Skate. Dress up. Bring a date. Have fun. Free pizza & photos. Los Bynardoz will be the prom band.

We exceeded our fundraising goal for the Every Little Thing You Love video! Final Amount Raised: $3,190! We are blown away by all of this amazing support & can’t wait to get started on production. Thank you! Here’s an update for all who donated:
• Album & EP downloads are available right now. Check your inbox for private links, or email thebynars@gmail.com if you have questions.
• All perk packages (album CDs, demo/compilitaion CDs, Frosted Frogs t-shirts, pins, stickers, etc.) will ship on or around April 2, 2012.
• Party invitations, Frosted Frogs cereal boxes, set props, and personalized songs will be delivered separately, as soon as they become available. We have to wait until production wraps (June-ish) for a couple of those things, so we thank you in advance for your patience.
We’ve been invited to play the 2012 Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble! This is a Boston Rock institution with 30+ years of history - we’re honored/psyched to be part of it! Preliminary rounds start 1st week of April:

Hello everyone,
After receiving a lot of positive feedback about our interactive video for “How Does It Feel to Be in Love?” we’ve decided to create another music video, this time for our song Every Little Thing You Love …but true to form, we’re not trying to create just any old music video! This one is going to feel more like a short film - think of it in the tradition of music videos as “mini movies,” when Thriller ruled MTV, not just band sing-a-longs. We’ll be teaming up with a filmmaker named JP Disciscio and we’re eager to get started.
But we need your help! Today, we’re launching a fundraising campaign via IndieGoGo to help raise funds to make this video happen. Please check out our page & promo video to find out more about the project and to donate. We’re offering perks for everyone who gives, which means you’ll get something back for your donation (copies of our album, limited edition shirts, props from the video set, we’re even writing personalized songs, and offering to come to play a show in your living room). Wow. 2011. What a crazy year. Year of the Bynar indeed! We released an album. An interactive video. Lost a band member or two. Played a ton of shows. Got a bunch of good press. Ate lots of snacks. But it’s not over yet! We wanted to give you a heads up on a couple more show dates we have coming up in December.

As you can see, one is this Monday night opening for fun. in Boston, which we’re really excited about! This is a free concert brought to you by WFNX. All you have to do is RSVP and you’re in! The other one is Friday 12/17 @ Ralph’s in Worcester, MA. We’re playing with our friends Garage Sale Picasso, Maria Monk, Wrong Body, & Mountain Interval.
After these couple of dates, we’ll take a break from shows for January and we’ll begin planning for 2012. We have a bunch of new material we’re itching to work on, places we’re hoping to go, and some projects we’re excited to begin. We’ll also be watching more episodes of TNG. I think at least two a day?
